Project Manager | Norwich | Hybrid working | Contract £350 a day

Job description:

Are you a Project Manager looking to progress your career? We have an opportunity for you to work with a very exciting scale-up company.

We are working with growing scale-up business within the insurance sector. They have solid financial backing and are looking to move forward with their technical roadmap. For this role we are looking for a project manager who has experience of working with cross functional teams on the delivery of projects involving technical and design.
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology and design and know how to manage competing priorities across a business. Working closely with the product lead and technical team you will ensure projects are planned accurately and delivered on time.

Requirements:

Have proven experience of delivering complex projects involving technical and design in a business setting
Good understanding of the differences between front-end and back-end development
You have experience with development management software such as Jira.
Have previously led project teams through the whole project life-cycle and pro-actively managed risks and addressed issues
Experience in technical projects and understand the needs, considerations and activities required to deliver technical solutions
You understand design and content activities and understand how to plan projects with these requirements
Experience with waterfall and agile delivery environments
Strong communication and have the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders
Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule activities and timelines for projects
Define project scopes and goals
Outline resources needed for delivering project activities
Manage multiple projects across the business concurrently
Set realistic deadlines to stakeholders
Report regularly to stakeholders and project teams on progress
Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues and escalate as required
Prioritise and manage product backlogs managing business as usual tasks alongside larger projects
