If you are an experienced Finance Application Support Lead who is passionate about achieving outcomes for colleagues and customers across Bromford by leveraging great technology and processes, you belong at Bromford.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Application Support Lead to lead the maintenance and improvement of our Finance systems while managing an Analyst/s within the same area of expertise. You will play a pivotal role in achieving outcomes for colleagues and customers across Bromford by leveraging great technology and processes.

You will act as an SME for relevant business applications that enable Finance so previous experience is essential and ideally a relevant finance qualification is preferred. You will also lead the provision of high quality support and guidance to colleagues while managing incidents and service requests according to SLAs and championing IT service management processes e.g problem and change management.

We will want you to continuously review software roadmaps and system capabilities, owning the Bromford upgrade / improvement roadmap for your expert area. You will articulate rationale and benefits of new features across the area with a view to providing robust solutions to align to business strategy. You will be responsible for leading the maintenance of process and technical documentation, leading the testing of business applications working alongside the QA Team, and the transition from the project delivery into support for scope within Finance.

As Finance Application Support Lead with us, you will manage the people processes for individuals in your team including performance management and general HR administration. You will also coach other ICT colleagues on business applications' functions, lead the coaching of end users as an SME in specific business applications functions.

As Application Support Lead you will have:

Either a professional qualification in the business area you support, e.g. accounting, procurement, etc., or a desire to be so.
Hands-on experience in designing, configuring, customising or administering specific functions/modules within Finance
Experience managing and implementing changes using a formal method such as SDLC/ITIL
Working knowledge of MS tools such as PowerPlatform, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure, LogicApps
Experience managing people including HR processes and performance.
System improvement and support experience, acting as an expert across multiple modules of the solution, including configuration.
Systems administration including scheduled tasks, monitoring and integration management.
Systems analysis experience
Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
Ability to build strong internal customer relationships and dedicated to achieving great outcomes for stakeholders.
ITIL Foundation Qualification v3 or v4 is desirable.
A personable, approachable and confident attitude to supporting end users.
Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to colleagues.
Problem solving skills with creative solutions.
Self-Starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
Thinks clearly and calmly under pressure.This is a roaming role so will involve a mix of office, home and remote working. You'll be based from one of our main offices at Wolverhampton (WV10), Tewkesbury (GL20) or Chipping Sodbury (BS37)

Your previous experience may be in roles as a systems lead, support lead, D365 lead, ICT applications manager, ICT systems lead, amongst others.
