Macildowie are pleased to be recruiting for a an Account Manager for a leading manufacturing SME based in Alfreton. We are looking for an established Account Manager who has a keen interest in fashion and retail.
You will manage a portfolio of existing accounts, building and maintaining strong, established relationships to gain a deep understanding of client businesses, priorities, and strategies. Through an understanding of their needs, you will propose solutions that support the client's challenges.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am 4:30pm with a combination of travel, office and home work.
Role & responsibilities:
Help in growing the market share of the brand by providing exceptional customer care to new and existing customers.
Build and expand long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Regular meetings and sale analysis for key customers, alongside regular calls/emails to smaller accounts
Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers.
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts.
Attend relevant trade show conferences, workshops and sales meetings.
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Proven work experience as a Key Account Manager or a relevant sales role of at least 2 years.
Proven account management record.
Market knowledge in clothing desirable.
Ability to build rapport and develop relationships.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office.
Time management planning skills.
