A retail business are looking for some temporary additional support within their finance team. This position will be working remotely with occasional requirement to meet up in their offices. Initially this will be a temporary requirement for a period of three months - 6 months, with a strong possibility for this role to be extended or being made permanent. There are two positions available and require individuals to be available to start in January 2022.

Finance Assistant - About The Role

This remote working temporary role will be involved you supporting the finance team within the Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger areas of the team. You will be responsible, along with other members within the team, to ensure that all supplier invoices are loaded on to finance system correctly, ensuring the relevant PO have been raised and ensure that necessary approvals for payments have been received.

You will be communicating with the suppliers to update them on payment dates and to also resolve queries on invoices and payment status.

* You will also be involved in the bank reconciliations.

* Sales ledger receipt analysis. (Mainly credit cards)

* Processing refund payments

* Bank ledger reconciling

* Supplier invoice input

* Processing staff expenses

The successful Finance Assistant will have:

* Good experience across both Sales & Purchase Ledger

* Strong communications skills

* Ability to pick up IT systems quickly
