We have exciting opportunities for Project Managers with our defence clients in Bristol. Contracts are for a minimum of 6 months but likely to be ongoing, you wil be able to WFH but must be able to travel to site in Bristol twice a month.
The role is Inside IR35.
ROLE OUTLINE
As a Project Manager, responsibilities will include:
* Supporting and shaping client project delivery through suitable planning, monitoring, controlling and performance reporting
* Identifying risk and remedial actions
* Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and management processes
* Ensuring client business needs are met by specifying the programme/projects
* Leading and championing the application of suitable programme and project delivery strategies
* Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking
* Establishing effective processes and systems to be used throughout a project
* Promoting positive working relationships with different stakeholders
* Preparing materials for projects and reports on progress, etc
The successful candidate will:
* Hold or eliigible to gain a security clearance (SC) (this is essential)
* Have prior experience working with the defence, engineering sector
* Knowledge of P3M practices
* Hold a formal PM qualification
* Ideally a Member of the Association for Project Management (APM)
* Have a track record of successful project delivery
