An exciting contract has arisen as a Consumer Communications and Social Manager. This role is based in Surrey but for the 3 Months+ there is considerable flexibility. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the reputation of the brands and businesses through agency management, social media listening, communications and complaints tracking.

The successful Consumer Communications and Social Manager will be responsible for;
  • Agency Management
  • Performance monitoring & reporting; including social media listening projects to track consumer sentiment.
  • Action planning & identification of next steps to deal with any consumer contacts which have been flagged & escalated because they are contentious and have the potential to present reputational risk.
  • Ensuring literature and documentation for the agency and internal communications team is always up-to-date; e.g. product FAQ documents.
  • Management & oversight of all relevant social media listening tools (Hootsuite & Brandwatch).
  • Budget oversight, tracking & reconciliation.


The successful Consumer Communications and Social Manager will have the following expertise;
  • Experience working in a consumer facing business.
  • Experience of crafting & wording written communications.
  • Experience of leading External Agency relationships & Agency Management.
  • Good verbal communicator who is confident in challenging situations.
