We are delighted to be working with a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) who, due to continued success with ambitious growth plans, are looking to recruit for an Operations Manager. This business is highly reputable within their industry with a strong track record of delivering an excellent service to their clients. With 200 existing staff at present, the company has strong plans to expand the business as we go forward in 2022.

The opportunity of Operations Manager will provide a £28,000 - £30,000 annual salary depending on your previous experience. There will be a real focus on development within the company and a clear career pathway for your own personal growth. This role will provide a high amount of exposure to a variety of different projects and customer interaction.

Based in modern offices with access to free parking, this opportunity can offer some home working and is adaptable to the current climate.

About you:

* Strong interpersonal and motivational skills

* Previous management / project experience or two years +

* Experience of operating and managing a team of two years +

* Excellent attention to detail with an ability to lead

* Proficient knowledge and understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools, such as PRINCE2 and Agile. With capacity to oversee the timely delivery of complex and diverse external projects, in accordance with organisational and customer requirements

* Proficiency to interpret and manage risk registers; threat and hazard identification, risk scoring, risk treatment options

* An in-depth understanding of Customer Relationship Management systems and practice, with capacity to effectively navigate, undertake case management

* Developed knowledge of Hardware configuration requirements

* Team management experience including the co-design of department objectives and individual training and development plans

* Previous experience working with an Agile R&D team

* Previous experience of working with a operation team looking after internal IT

* Understand of networking concept

Duties of the job role:

The Operations Manager or Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing all work delivered by the Department, proactively maintaining and overseeing department task allocations and roadmap, acting as the central point of escalation for the team. The Operations Manager or Technical Manager will design, implement and review departmental processes, proactively managing and reporting on staff productivity and performance outputs. The Operations Manager will proactively manage and design the delivery of Internal projects, including project design, resource management and risk assessment of each project from inception to completion. As a member of the Management team, the Operations Manager will contribute to the delivery of company's Networks' objectives, provide and facilitate the training of all department staff, and proactively work towards the fulfilment of company strategy.

* Oversee the day-to-day management and development of direct reports

* Develop and report on department performance objectives and KPIs, in line with the business' strategic goals

* Evaluate staff work performance in line with adherence to company requirements and objectives Participate the creation of the monthly Operational report

* Produce written and verbal reports to the directors; evaluating team performance, activity, and challenges, as well as assessing progress on work programmes and adherence to company strategy and objectives and other specific reports as required by the Head of Commercial and Directors Manage the workload of received orders and tickets in to the Provisioning department, including; new provides, regrades and ceases

* Manage escalated complaints received

* Manage relationships with key Suppliers and Partners, reporting performance, feedback and identified issues as required

* Oversee the integration and deployment of internal systems into the department

* Maintain department resources and documentation

* Attend Supplier and Customer meetings where required

* Manage Customer Projects

* Maintain an awareness and in depth understanding of relevant products and services technologies within the ISP/Telecommunications, in addition to the business's product portfolio

* Oversee the production of department knowledge-base material

* To act in accordance with the behaviours and values of the business within general practice

* Enforce and adhere to the business's policies and procedures to support the IMS
