Working with a small, local charity, you will be responsible for receipt, recording and processing expenses of the charity, preparation of monthly payment files, drafting updating and maintaining finance policies, as well as recommendation for improvements and monitoring the charity's income and expenditure to ensuire suitable cashflow. You will undertake accounts reconciliations and responde to external and internal finance queries, as well as passing on records and relevant information to the external accountants.
The charity uses Quickbooks so previous experience of this would be highly beneficial. Any experience working within a charity would also be very useful.
The company are looking for someone to work circa 8 hours a week, while preferring this to be spread over two days, there is flexibility in this.
