Fantastic career contract opportunity to join the Real Assets Data Services team provides within L&G IM, a vital service to the Real Assets division.

The purpose of the role is to support the team by taking on daily processes and reconciliations to create bandwidth so that the rest of the team can focus on foundational project work.

This contract role is to support the Real Assets Data Services team so that they can get extra bandwidth to allow them to create foundational processes and automation ahead of the baseline data load for Funds to start modelling in MRI.

Assignment Duties

Run daily activities to ensure a robust and reliable delivery of core data feeds through to our golden source data warehouse and downstream systems.
Monitor strategic partners to ensure they maintain adherence to LGIM Real Assets data quality standards to ensure robust and reliable information persists across the platform.
Collate data for Real Estate Investment Funds consisting of over 750 commercial buildings across a multitude of sectors including: - Offices, Retail, Leisure, Industrial and Build to Rent.
Support the Real Assets Data Services Team by running day to day processesIdeally the candidate will need to have specialised in digital and or technical qualifications

Candidate Skills

IT & Data Skills - Highly IT literate with demonstrable track record in using excel to an advanced level (Pivot / Advanced formula to aid data quality).

Eye-for-detail - Ability to highlight missing files, gaps in data and eventually, incorrect data, data mappings.

Communication Skills - ability to liaise with stakeholders of varying levels to request and chase for data required to meet the objectives

Experience of previous data operations or real estate data role would be advantageous.

A strong learner with the ability to learn new tools

Ability to reconciling multiple datasets

The candidate will need to pick up systems quickly and run repetitive tasks across large datasets with high attention to detail. They will therefore need to work autonomously after initial instruction but also raise queries with the team if they are unsure that the outcomes are not what is expected. The candidate will be exposed to Real Estate specific domain data, so the ability to pick up terms and acronyms used in data/ processing will be essential. This is especially key due to the range of data topics covered from Building Information, Valuation, Financial, Company, Location and ESG data sets.

Ensure timely non-financial data downloads from third party sources (i.e. Managing Agents) are achieved.
