Fixed Asset Engineer
Location - Glenrothes
Duration - up to 6-months
Hourly Rate - £Competitive DoE
Hours of Work - 37.5 per week
8:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday
8:00- 13:30 Friday
Founded in 1984, ESS Holding's Client is an established supplier of instrumentation sales, electrical and instrumentation project management, system integration for industrial and process control. With their head offices in Glenrothes, they have successfully and continually expanding their customer base, industry knowledge and expertise in a global market.
Due to Our Clients continued growth plans and continued increase in work-load they now need to make the key hire of a Fixed Asset Engineer to be based on one of their main clients site on a temp/ contract basis for up to 6-months.
The Asset Engineer will be based on a Bio Energy Plant in Glenrothes where you will be carrying out visual inspections of the BEP assets, logging and recording each asset on to the site wide database.
In addition, you will be responsible for recording the data from each asset accurately, assets will include, but not limited to:
To be considered for this role, you will ideally be educated to degree level/ relevant Mechanical/ Electrical industry qualification and have a working knowledge of industrial equipment.
In addition, you will demonstrate the following.
* Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be proficient with general IT systems
* Have a working understanding of working in hazardous areas. Though not essential, candidates with CompEX certification would be considered highly desirable.
As Asset Engineer, it is essential to this role that you can conduct yourself in a professional manner as you will be liaising directly with Our Client's, Client, working on their site.
You will have prior experience working within a Heavy Industrial background, including Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and Oil & Gas.
