More about your role

You will co-ordinate and lead the Payroll Team to ensure delivery of a professional and responsive Payroll Service to customers both internally and externally by adhering to defined service level agreements and statutory requirements, ensuring accurate payment every month.

As we trial a 'hybrid' approach to working you will be given the opportunity to work from home although you will be expected to regularly go to our Preston office based at the Docklands.

More about you

You will have previous experience leading a payroll/admin team with success. Due to the legal and technical requirements of the role we would expect you to have: detailed knowledge and experience of UK payroll operations and current statutory legislation; knowledge of HMRC Real Time Information reporting and experience of delivering multiple payrolls.

You will be an ambassador of our SPIRIT values and you will understand the importance of delivering a first class customer service experience. You will be methodical; organised and analytical with a proven track record of delivering results and meeting deadlines. You'll enjoy taking a collaborative approach and engaging with stakeholders to achieve objectives and goals.
