Job Title - Analytics Manager (Compliance)

London - Hybrid

Salary - £80,000-90,000

THE COMPANY:

Our client is the world leader in sports betting and gaming entertainment is looking for an Analytics Manager to lead its Compliance function working to deliver end-to-end analytics support to Safer Gambling initiatives.

THE ROLE:

Your key responsibilities will involve engaging with stakeholders, developing a strong data team of 3 whilst optimising the Compliance analytics function.

You will:

• Act as the main data proponent in the Compliance function
• Assist key stakeholders with their data requests (i.e ad hoc reporting)
• Be responsible for the line management and learning and development of a minimum of 3 reports.
• Identify key business opportunities and problems
• Find ways to optimise the Compliance analytics function (i.e. automating processing using Python)
• Manage the Analytics function from data ingestion to data visualisation
• Maintain the Tableau and cloud database platforms
• Perform descriptive and predictive analytics to promote Safer Gambling initiatives
• Promote collaboration amongst stakeholders and the data team

REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for the job role, you will require:

• Advanced SQL and Excel (VBA desirable)
• Coding languages (R or Python)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience in descriptive and predictive analytics
• Experience forecasting trends and business opportunities
• Experience managing a small data team
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• MSc in an Analytics-related subject (i.e Statistics or Computer Science)
• Proficiency in data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI or Looker)
