Walker and Sloan are proud to be working with an award-winning B2B agency in Cirencester and they are looking to bring on a skilled Artworker/ Creative Designer to the team due to some amazing growth within the business.

Artworker/ Graphic Design

Reporting to: Creative designer

The company is a B2B creative content and experience marketing and public relations company. We advise clients on marketing communications strategies and developing appropriate programmes to achieve their business objectives. We manage the implementation of these programmes across all disciplines via our internal team and specialist partners.

Working both in the UK and internationally, we specialise in automotive & transport; building & construction; aerospace, defence & security; industrial & engineering; and business services.

Role overview: We are looking for a talented artworker/designer, especially with After Effects and other video editing/MP4 experience to work full time across our portfolio of great B2B brands, for clients in the UK and globally.

The successful candidate will have:

Essential:
  • Minimum 2 years working experience with full knowledge of Indesign, Illustrator & Photoshop with demonstrable experience in artwork and design across all forms of marketing and digital. Ability to work alone across video, social and print.
  • An active interest in trends especially within social media
  • A great working knowledge of After Effects. Ideally plus other video-editing software.
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint is also key for support on presentations.
  • The ability to successfully manage outsourced work with specialist partners/printers/exhibition stand makers/other.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with different account handling levels. Must be open to feedback and discussion, with the agility to manage rapid response adjustments.
  • Prioritising and working to deadlines.
  • Excellent version control and file management is a must.
  • Ability to work swiftly, juggling a number of pieces of activity at once.
  • Active responsibility for the quality of your work and as such, Clear's reputation.
  • Superb technical skills and willingness to continually self-learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Familiarity with taking in hefty brand guidelines - aligning work with a common sense approach - proactively speaking out and advising account handlers.
  • Well balanced typography and not just with a good eye for design and spatial awareness but focused on the effectiveness and success of the communication take out from the item being created and its role in the communication mix.
  • A desire to add value and make a difference to our agency success - not just in delivering great thinking & design on Client work with a sense of what works on differing investment budgets - but someone who proactively wants to be involved in making a difference to our clients and our own marketing of the agency too, having a flair for ideas and driving them through.
  • Able to keep the "bigger picture" in mind - the business objectives and strategic direction of the organisation, the competitors and the dynamics at work in the marketplace.
  • Disciplined with keeping timesheets and all adhering to all agency procedures.

Desirable:
  • HTML banner ad creation
  • Relevant experience of eCRM - designing assets for HTML and responsive design
  • Experience of large international accounts - esp within one or more of our market sectors
  • Experience of input into wider marketing briefs/pitches
