Our client are a fast growth digital business.

Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Social Media Executive to join the team

Job purpose

Reporting directly into the Brand Marketing Manager, they require an experienced and talented Social Executive to help and deliver an impactful and integrated social strategy ensuring company targets and objectives are met.

A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a social role is crucial. The successful candidate will be resilient to change, able to voice their opinions and drive success through results.

Requirements

Social Media

- Working closely with the Brand Marketing Manager to create an engaging social media strategy, meeting the needs and interests of the business audience

- Day to day management of social media channels including Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest ensuring that they are kept up to date with the latest promotions and content as well as running in line with the overall social strategy

- Building the TikTok platform from the ground up, generating viral videos to keep the audience engaged

- Working alongside the PR team to implement online PR campaigns with an understanding of press opportunities

- Work closely with the wider digital team to drive growth across all social channels

- Work with the brand campaign team to ensure campaigns are creatively implemented across social platforms

- Remain reactive to key events, national days, and media relevant to the audience

- Working closely with the influencer and PR executive, ensuring you're working with relevant influencers and celebrities, consistently looking for new ways to work with influencers

- Lead daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on all social activity

- Drive 'of the box' thinking when it comes to interacting with the audience and able to adapt to change within social media, making sure the brand is ahead of the game when it comes to new platforms and new communication tools

Content Creation

- Planning and shooting social content in the in-house studio as and when needed, creating new and innovative ways to present the business across social platforms

- Preparing the in-house studio with any backdrops or props that may be needed

- Work within set guidelines for creating social content, ensuring it is edited in line with brand guidelines

- Creating and editing engaging video content with a particular focus on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube

- Responsible for the content creation at all key events including campaign shoots and influencer/press events

AOB

- Working with the overall brand team to drive and optimise the brand strategy

Develop an expert understanding of the brand, customer and target audience. Acting as a brand

Skills, know-how and experience:

- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role

- A passion for social media and digital marketing

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

- Strong planning and organisational skills able to manage multiple competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail

- A mature and extremely ambitious individual with a creative flair

- Eager and dedicated, taking initiative of specific directives

- Take an "always on" approach to work

- You collaborate well and bring a positive energy to the team

- Highly confident in presenting to and working with senior team members
