Are you an aspiring leader with drive and passion? Are you looking to gain experience

in a fast growing, diverse and innovative educational organisation? If the answer is yes,

then you may be the person we are looking for.

We are working with a post-16 specialist provider, specialising in Music, Maths, English and Life Skills. Their mission? To help vulnerable young people who have previously fallen out of formal education to engage, achieve and progress in a unique, inclusive learning environment.

We are looking for a confident leader who is willing to work hard to develop their teaching, learning and assessment department and take it to the next level, aiming for Ofsted Outstanding. This role is integral for the running of Maths, English and all vocational programmes across both bases in Swanley and Canterbury (for which you will need to split your time). You will manage a team, including teachers and additional

coordinators, who in turn will manage further delivery staff (teachers and Learning Support Practitioners) and use your talents to implement new ideas, inspire your team and recognise the vision of this wonderful provider. Answerable to the Director of Education and Innovation, you will be accountable for the safeguarding of all students and maintaining high student attendance. General management responsibilities and role specific responsibilities ( a full job spec detailing these is available)

Ideally you will have experience working within education in a management capacity and working with young people with SEND. A strong knowledge of Ofsted teaching, overseeing vocational programmes and learning and assessment criteria is also needed.

Qualified to L5 or above or similar would be desirable.

The benefits to you are:

Competitive salary growth

For the right candidate, a developmental pathway to becoming a part of the senior

leadership team.

Opportunities to attend music festivals like Glastonbury and Black Deer.

Access to the staff pension scheme.

Working with a senior leadership team that is passionate about training and CPD

opportunities for its staff
