Project Manager (Media - D2C Launch)

Role: Project Manager (Media)
Specialism: Direct-to-Consumer Product Launch
Type: Contract
Duration: 6 Months
Location: London / Remote (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £450 - £550 per day
Start: ASAP

CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading Broadcast Media organisation, supporting them on an exciting new D2C proposition. Consequently, they require an experienced Project Manager with previous experience of delivering a D2C product required to manage the setup and implementation of a D2C product.

This is a new step for the organisation and will require the Project Manager to drive activity, have strong communication, influencing and project management skills. Also a deep familiarity and understanding of the ambition for the product and the principles of the technology and agile delivery involved in launching Direct to Consumer.

Role Overview

*To deliver the D2C product on time, as per the agreed timeline to delivery
*Drive and manage multiple internal workstreams and stakeholders and ensure deliverables are executed.
*Work closely with the Product Owner to establish the product and ensure clarity of requirements and priorities.
*Develop strong and communicative relationships with our external partners and an understanding of their function and systems, as well as ensuring they meet their deliverables.
*Manage senior stakeholders through plan preparation, status updates, risk planning and facilitating meetings.
*Partner across workstreams to support stakeholder communications & delivery of the project status, milestones, risks and issues.
*Gain an understanding of the product and it's workflows, as well as the surrounding vendors and systems.
*To lead key project meetings to ensure prioritisation of critical path activities and decisions are made in a timely manner.
*Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies and develop plans to escalate and mitigate them.
*Create and manage required project documentation and required reports.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience

*Working within the Broadcast/Media industry and involved in digital launches of D2C products.
*Working with various project management methodologies.
*Competent user of Microsoft Office inc. MS Project
*3+ years of Digital Project Management experience
*Experience & proven track record being involved in the whole project life cycle, including the 'shaping' stage through to the business 'handover'
*Proven expert with planning, monitoring and reporting
*Able to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels
*Proven experience of solving problems
*Strong knowledge of project management disciplines and techniques
*Excellent written and verbal communication
*Effective time management
*Attention to detail
