Jewish Care is the largest health and social care charity for the Jewish Community in the UK, caring directly for over 10,000 people each week. We are looking for a proactive and meticulous Financial Reporting Manager to provide high quality support to the finance function during an exciting period of change and modernisation.
Reporting into the Assistant Director of Finance, this is a key position and your responsibilities include:
- Being responsible for preparing all Jewish Care's Financial Reporting including the consolidation of all statutory accounts, including Group Accounts;
- Ensuring that Jewish Care's processes and controls result in complete and accurate accounting;
- Ensuring the integrity of Jewish Care's balance sheet;
- Being responsible for planning and delivering the Audit efficiently and to deadline.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified and will likely come from an audit background. You will have a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience, gained either in practice or industry. You will have demonstrable experience of technical accounting and dealing with complex accounting issues. We are looking for a self-starter with an action-orientated approach. You will have high levels of resilience and determination. You will be able to build supportive, trusting and effective relationships and work collaboratively with the wider Finance team.
