My client an independent group of schools and services for vulnerable children with is looking for a Marketing Manager to join them on a temp-perm basis. The Marketing Manager will be crucial in developing the company brand, developing strong stakeholder awareness and a positive perception of the company's unique and competitive positioning within the SEND arena.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and review an annual action plan for delivering marketing and communication strategies
  • Develop brand awareness and recognition
  • Develop marketing strategies and materials that support the Business Development Team in the 'sales' process
  • Build audiences through powerful digital and social media campaigns
  • Lead on event management, working in collaboration with schools to ensure events are a success
  • Work closely with colleagues in schools/services to generate messages that reflect their approach to therapeutic education
  • Manage a small team, providing guidance and support to develop their skills
  • Brief designers and PR agency
  • Establish and implement an external communications strategy that generates referrals
  • Develop and implement a digital and social media strategy
  • Hold responsibility for external marketing materials
  • Work with Commercial Director to devise and manage a powerful PR campaign
  • Work with Founder to devise powerful and stand-out Thought Leadership PR
  • Hold responsibility for website content and communications
  • Hold responsibility for social media channels and building audiences
  • Deliver reports on website and social media analytics
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of external and internal communications
  • Storyboard or translate ideas to designers, brief and manage external agencies

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Marketing experience in a people related organisation, education, health, public sector, or charity
  • Proven success in leading and delivering marketing campaigns
  • Direct experience and knowledge of developing social and digital media campaigns and building audiences
  • Knowledge and experience of using graphics packages such as Adobe, Publisher or similar
  • Commercial awareness and how marketing fits within the business strategy
