Finance Systems Support Specialist SAP

Working within the SAP Finance Support team, the role is to focus on providing high quality support to the Finance teams in their use of SAP by providing system testing support, BAU activities, managing the implementation of changes and being a point of first contact.

Description

1. Provide advice and guidance to business users on all aspects of the SAP FI and sub-modules
2. Progress system/process faults identified, to a timely resolution
3. Support system testing in all stages from SIT to E2E
4. Undertake master data and data integrity reconciliation and reviews
5. Work with the business and IT communities in identifying and implementing process improvements and system enhancements
6. Manage change requests submitted, reviewing to identify resource requirements, and progressing to a satisfactory conclusion
7. Provide project finance work-stream resource at the initial design, blueprinting and realisation stages and manage the transition to BAU support following 'go live'
8. Carry out month end accruals, reporting and submissions

Profile

• Experience gained in similar working environment
• Excellent Excel skills
• Highly numerate with good communication skills, both verbal and written with strong report writing skills
• Experience of providing SAP support to finance and business users
• SAP FI experience a must

System Testing experience would be beneficial

ACCA / CIMA

• L7L Part qualified or qualified by experience with basic knowledge of SAP modules
• L7M Part qualified or qualified by experience with 2 to 5 years SAP support experience
• L7H Part or fully qualified or qualified by experience with over 5 years SAP support experience across multiple modules
