A fantastic opportunity has rise to join a renowned streaming content business on a 12 month contract during a period of exciting growth as well as cutting edge projects.

THE ROLE:

This role has arisen owing to a brand new and exciting pivot to SVOD services and it's primary purpose is to provide legal and business affairs support for the acquisition and commissioning of content for exhibition and exploitation across the business offering. This individual will also be responsible for:

• Drafting, negotiating and advising on development and commissioning agreements
• Working with and supporting the wider Business & Legal Affairs team
• Advising on underlying clearances
• Supporting with IP matters such as trademark, copyright and passing off
• Liaising with external counsel as required

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT:

The successful individual will ideally have the following experience:

• Qualified lawyer with a demonstrable track record of commercial and entertainment law
• Hands-on experience of media rights deals
• An understanding of media compliance laws and issues
• Sound knowledge of rights issues, contract law, copyright law and distribution
• Excellent drafting skills of a wide range of commercial documents
• Good interpersonal and relationship skills
• A team player
