The Agency Marketing Manager Role:

We are looking for an agency marketing manager to lead on the planning and execution of our agency’s content marketing strategy to further propel our growth. This is an inhouse role working across a variety of digital platforms and with a strong emphasis on written copy include social, email and content for our own website.

You will have experience working in a business to business environment (ideally within a search agency) and as a digital native, you will be well versed in the language of a search marketing agency and use this knowledge to position our offering to our key target audiences which span many sectors including retail, legal and education.

As part of our efforts to raise our profile, we will also require you to take the lead in preparing submissions for a selection of local and national awards.

Responsibilities:

+ Produce email newsletters for our various target audiences
+ Take ownership of our website ensuring it is up to date, positively reflects the agency and is an ever increasing source of new business leads
+ Researching, writing, editing and proofreading case studies, blogs, guides and white papers whilst ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
+ Plan, resource and execute webinars alongside our search specialists
+ Management of Distinctly’s organic social activity – predominantly LinkedIn
+ Responsibility for award submissions

The Perfect Candidate:

+ First class copywriting (essential)
+ B2B marketing experience for service businesses essential (agency experience ideally)
+ Strong working knowledge of SEO and how it can be leveraged as part of a content marketing strategy
+ Digitally savvy with strong knowledge of PPC and digital PR
+ Experience with Photoshop/Indesign or similar software
