Business Development Representative

£36,000 Basic + bonus (£48,000 OTE)

We specialise in helping marketing communications agencies and technology businesses win more clients by finding new business opportunities for them with the decision makers for their service within the companies they want to work with.
We are a new business agency specialising (predominantly but not exclusively) in working in two distinct and somewhat overlapping sectors; marketing agencies (advertising, PR, digital, branding, experiential etc) and technology firms (robotics, AI, mar-tech, sport-tech etc.).
Due to huge growth we are seeking a highly motivated and driven Business Development Representative to join our team.
Our office is in leafy Chiswick, close to an excellent high street of shops, restaurants and bars. We have on site showers, safe cycle storage and there is plenty of parking available nearby. We offer 23 days holiday plus a half day "Manifest Holiday" the day before each bank holiday (so you can get off early to beat the traffic, or just go to the pub!). The hours are 9am to 5:30pm but we close at 4:30pm each Friday.
The Business Development Representative Role:
BDRs initiate exploratory calls with prospects to see if they'd be an ideal customer for our clients. They need to know their product and service offerings inside and out so they can communicate their purpose and value to prospective customers.
If the prospect is a good fit, the BDR will schedule a discovery call or meeting for a member of their client’s team and the prospect. It's up to the salesperson at your client to deepen the relationship with the prospect and eventually get them to close.
This position involves teamwork, strong written and verbal communication, and desire to deliver happiness to our customers and their prospects. Our BDRs research and prospect businesses with the goal of generating qualified opportunities for our sales team.
You will complete 100 outbound activities a day between calls, emails, social selling and direct mail; many of those outbound activities will result in “no’s” from prospects and we’re looking for people that can bounce back after rejection and keep on going!

+ This role requires availability Monday through Friday during normal business hours located in our office in Chiswick, West London
+ Build partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
+ Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
