A Senior Finance Business is being recruited for an investor-backed business going through exponential growth. The company have a strong technology focus and are leading the way in the light electric vehicle market.

After securing Series B funding in October, the business is driving its expansion plans further across Europe and The US. To help support these exciting plans, a Senior Finance Business Partner to operate in a standalone capacity out of London.

The Finance Business Partner will work closely with the UK Managing Director and Head of European Expansion to develop financial strategies. You will drive analytics to enable enhanced business decision-making and be hands-on to improve key finance functions to support the scaling up of the business.
  • Partner with EU Director and team to develop the annual business plan and analysis
  • Drive the annual business planning and financial forecasting process for the North American market
  • Provide timely financial analysis to business unit management to achieve targets
  • Prepare supporting details for customer profitability reporting and cost allocations
  • Understand business drivers and recommend measures to improve results further and optimise ROI
  • Develop and present strategic insights about the business to senior management
  • Align functional goals and strategies to broader global initiatives
  • Identifying industry performance trends and risk areas while maintaining suitable financial models
  • Revenue, labour and materials analysis, including compiling competitive contract comparisons, developing labour models, and valuing tender proposals in contract negotiations.
  • Involvement in due diligence and potential future M&A projects, assessing financial performance and synergies.

The candidate
  • Strong business partnering background
  • Experience in adding value in a high-growth business with senior commercially focused stakeholders
  • Strong Excel / analytical skills
  • Previous experience of working across in a multi-territory focused role and sector experience in asset leasing or logistics is desirable.

Strong communication skills are essential. The right person will be a self-starter who can independently drive projects forward with precision and speed.
