Are you an Operations Manager? Are you used to being the number 2 to a Director? We are after an Operations and Central Services Senior Manager/Operations Manager £50k-£65k + Benefits.

This brand is a small boutique Recruitment business who not only service clients and find candidates opportunities, but they are bigger than this! I mean, what a business!

This role can be 3 DAYS A WEEK or FULL-TIME. They believe in flexibility.

This brand is established and working with challenger consumer brands, market disruptors and high growth companies. They work in the spaces which is:

Marketing, Communications, PR and Sports Marketing sectors

Why is this role important?

The MD of the brand is still doing a lot of work which can be now passed on to you! This is NOT a sales role but an Operations manager role. For the business to grow further the MD needs to focus more of her time on strategic growth opportunities and to developing the Sector Leads into full Leaders of the business. Here are some of the responsibilities you will take on!

Role Objectives

*To lead and manage the Central Services & Operations (the non-recruitment / sales side of the business) including Compliance, Systems, Administration & Business Ops Planning.
*To work alongside the Sector Leads to achieve sales growth from £1million fee income in 2021/22 income to £2.5 million fee income between by year end 2025 with min 20% EBITDA
*To ensure that our operations and central services functions are best in class support to the Consultancy Sales team. Efficient, cost effective, integrated, and streamlined.

This role reports into the CEO.

Direct / dotted line reports are into one Credit Controller and one Accountant who has been with the business for 16 years.

Breakdown of responsibilities include but not limited to:

1.Manage all Supplier Partner relationships including IT systems, CRM (Bullhorn currently), Linked In, Martech Candidate Access, Advertising Trade Job Boards. During 2022 there will be an IT tender and CRM tender to manage. Source & manage relationships for Flexible Office space - we are currently hubbing out of the Ministry of Sound in SE1 2 days a week, but the space is available to us 5 days a week.

2.Compliance - CRM systems, Diversity & Inclusion, Company Activity & Financial reporting, GDPR, REC code, FA EDI reporting, bi-annual B-Corp Impact Assessment. Policy reviews (just undergone for B-Corp)

3.Working with CEO & Team leaders to create our Annual Budget (with JB) Quarterly Management accounts oversight, monthly overhead & cost control, credit control oversight, oversee monthly salaries & commission payments

4.Introduce robust Client Servicing, Account Management systems & Client & Candidate feedback processes

5.Recruitment - Manage relationships with Rec2Recs for pipeline planning of talent. Oversee Induction, Training of recruitment consultancy team working with the Sector Lead on growth planning of headcount for their teams.

6.Manage HR records, references of staff, contracts, onboarding

7.Appraisals - annual and midyear planning & records. Supporting Sector Leads with individual development plans for their team members.

Employed basis
*Salary - flexible dependent on experience - open to flexible working 3 days a week
*Bonus - based on company performance paid annually and quarterly (2 months and 1 month in arrears)
*Holiday - 5 weeks holiday pro rata which includes 3 days between Christmas & New Year
*Notice period - one month notice either side for the first 3 months; three months' notice either side from end of probationary period
*Hours 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with overtime when required. This role can be done remotely but 2 days need to be in the office each week - Wed & Thursdays
*Set up to be able work remotely. Paid for Samsung 'phone & laptop
*Government Pension
