My client, a very successful and rapidly growing SME based 10 miles West of Yeovil, South Somerset, has retained me exclusively to find them an experienced Financial Manager for a permanent career opportunity and to join the senior management team.

Managing and motivating 1 junior accounts person
Controlling costs and the general financial health of the company
Cash flow management
Producing regular management accounts. P/L on a monthly basis, to the directors
Manage using SAGE 50 the day to day financial operations of the company, purchase ledger invoicing, sales invoices, PAYE, VAT
To take an active role in the continuous improvement of the company bottom line, in analysing all aspects of the business and costs and reporting as necessary
Business forecasting reports regularly updated from a baseline annual business budget - actuals against budgets- along with a cash flow projection. A road map of the business plan in which we will use to drive the business forward
Credit Control
Manage company car leases, insurances, company mobile phones
Calculating, recording and payment of agent commissions
HR
Preparing end of year accounts and presenting to our accountants
Organising and preparing information for the needs of raising finance
Manage the Sage system and in the development of systems for the recording of production costs, sub-assemblies, top level and labour
Managing IT requirements and as necessary our IT supporting company
Through understanding of the business, come up with innovative proposals for sales incentive packages, to increase our ability to drive sales forward and increase turnover
