The firm

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Administrator to join a top tier, international law firm with over 2,500 colleagues across 9 countries and several international associations. This firm has 11 offices in the UK as well as offices in Dublin, Madrid, Paris and many others.

They act for all the UK's top-ten insurers and are market leaders in a number of areas. This firm has an impressive legal pedigree, with 142 chambers UK 2021 practice area and individual lawyer rankings. In the Legal 500 UK 2021 the firm received top tier ranking for 37 of its practice areas and 58 Lawyers were singled out in the 'Leading Individual' rankings.

The team

The role is within the Professional and Commercial Risk team who advises insurers and professional organisations when they are faced with a threat of a professional negligence claim. This team acts on several high values, sensitive claims for clients throughout the UK including solicitors, accountants, brokers engineers to name a few.

This team is particularly experienced in the deployment of alternative dispute resolution techniques, including mediation and arbitration. The cases that are covered include commercial litigation and is in the top tier ranking for professional negligence in the Legal 500 and Chambers directories.


This is what you will be doing:

· Opening cases from dedicated mail inbox
· Checking conflicts
· Maintaining accurate management and client information
· Conducting billing administration
· Conducting post completion
· Generating monthly reporting on cases to maintain company standards

The experience you will bring to the team

· Previous office based experience
· Experience of working on Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
· Quick at learning in-house systems
· Enthusiasm, flexibility, and eye for detail
· Customer service orientated
· Ability to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines
· Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with minimum C grade passes in Maths and English
