Interim Category Manager

Castlefield Recruitment are currently looking for an interim Category Manager to join a Manchester based Public Sector organisation on a 3-6 month contract with extension opportunities.

The Role:

• Ensure all procurements are completed in line with organisations strategy and vision
• Responsible for delivering high value OJEU tenders end to end
• Make sure all processes are in line with Public Procurement Regulations and relevant EU legislation
• Negotiating with suppliers and build strong relationships with stakeholders and clients
• Contract management within assigned categories
• Supervision of junior members of team

The Person:

• Adaptable - with the ability to cover work in a number of category areas
• Immediately available or on short term notice
• Public Sector experience
• MCIPS desirable
