Finance Manager

Role

The Finance Manager will be instrumental in the running of the Finance team, taking ownership on all aspects of financial control and reporting for the Division. They will assist the Financial Controller and CFO in making key decisions that will shape the Division's overall strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial and management reporting process for half of the Division, consisting of two trading entities and a number of JV entities
• Review and control of the integrity of financial reporting Manage a team of 5 finance professionals, who are both qualified or studying towards their qualification. This includes reviewing the team's outputs and mentoring/coaching
• Assist with the Divisional 5 year forecast
• Promoting and strengthening process and controls by identifying and executing projects on process improvements
• Ownership of the cashflow forecast
• Providing finance support to the Divisional FC/FD/MD, devloping improvements of management information
• Key interface to external auditors
• Financial modelling to support business decisions

Knowledge and Skills

• Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 4 years PQE
• Auditing / Practice background preferable
• Strong technical acumen (IFRS)
• Effective communicator with non-finance
• Strong report writing skills with the ability to express financial results articulately at multiple levels up to Board level
