Permanent Compliance Team Leader - Crawley based Hybrid Working

An exciting new permanent role has become available, working for a professional services organisation, based in Crawley. Our client is seeking a Compliance Team Leader to support the client onboarding compliance process whilst supporting the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within professional services with a strong background in GDPR, Risk and CDD.

This role will be based from the Crawley office, the successful candidate will need to have worked in a regulated compliance role previously with the ability to demonstrate good decision making whilst mitigating risk. Experience of managing a team and/or supervisory role or similar.

Key responsibilities for the Compliance Team Leader :
  • Managing the team effectively to support the client onboarding process
  • Dealing with escalations as and when they arise from the team
  • Daily responsibility for staff management and review process
  • Working closely with the Information and Client Compliance Services Manager
  • Taking time to review conflict checks and follow up with the relevant stakeholder
  • Managing the client identification process reporting on any issues escalating
  • Creating new files within practice management system
  • Responsible for completing file opening quality audits
  • Deliver training to the team, and staff in fee earning groups where required
  • Attending meetings and training courses as required
  • Support in any special projects as required to meet the needs of the business

To be considered and shortlisted for this position, you will need to have some of the following :
  • Experience of managing a team within an administrative role
  • Established track record of working within compliance and risk
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
