Another excellent opportunity has arisen at a large NHS Acute Trust for an established, finance business partner to play a key leadership role in one of its main divisions.

Reporting to the Head of Delivery and Improvement, and working as an embedded member of the clinical and operational teams, the post holder will influence use of resource through both strengthening daily management and improving longer term planning and decision making. A high priority is the development of three year service plans which describe improvement across a balanced scorecard of quality, performance, workforce, money and partnership. Where investment is required to achieve plans, you will provide expert skills in development of business cases including the demonstration of strategic alignment, value and affordability. As a senior member of the organisation the post holder will display ambition, provide inspiration and inclusive leadership, to deliver an outstanding service to the Trust and patients.

You should be a qualified accountant with post qualification experience in financial leadership roles and which include experience of leading and driving change initiatives, business case development, financial planning and reporting. Furthermore, you will require excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to clearly present complex financial or business ideas in an appropriate way for their audience. Preferably you will have experience of working in a hospital environment, but exposure to large, complex, public sector organisations will be very helpful to this role as you will need to apply your strong analytical skills to complicated situations in order to arrive at a solution.

This is a great chance to join a busy and dynamic team and to take on a challenging role at a well known organisation which will enhance your CV.
