TEMP FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT- Immediate Start

This international pharmaceutical company based in London seeks a Financial Accountant to support the CFO, UK Finance team and budget holders in providing a first class to the business.

Duties include:

• Pro-active planning of month end activities and its completion
• Assist CFO with monthly management reporting
• Ensure all supplier invoices are correctly coded as per the Chart of Accounts
• Review and reconciliation of all ledgers (i.e. G/L, P/L and S/L) including accruals,
• Prepayments, stock and all other relevant balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Accurate processing of all relevant monthly journals onto the accounting system
• Ensure monthly bank account reconciliation checks are carried out on GBP & EUR bank accounts
• Ensure monthly cash pooling balances are accurate and confirmed to the Group
• Raise monthly sales invoices
• Prepare and submit Age debtors report to the Group
• Update the Fixed asset register and accurate accounting of depreciation & amortisation
• Responsible and accountable for completion of monthly payroll tasks for UK & Ireland
• Responsible and accountable for validation of fortnightly payment runs
• Responsible and accountable for completion and submission of VAT returns
• Responsible and accountable for completion and distribution of monthly spend reviews to budget owners
• Assist CFO to ensure smooth completion of financial year end and liaise with auditors during annual audit

The successful candidate with be a qualified Accountant with strong data manipulation skills and have the ability to work to tight deadline.
