As the new Finance Director, you will work with the MD and Chairman to drive high levels of commerciality , process improvement and governance out into the business to drive towards £30m revenue within the next 3-4 years.
The business has worked hard in taking some key steps towards the future from a culture perspective, including defining values, having a commercial vision that everyone buys , in addition to making smart decisions through new hires into the Exec. This is perfect for a highly commercial individual , who is strong on process, delivering a plan, diving into systems / reporting and can prove how they have facilitated adding value to a business through data and analysis to aid decision making.
Given the size of the business, you will sit on the exec partnering with the MD day to day.

The business is dynamic and driven however employee focus is hugely important and it will be your role, as well as the exec, to continue to develop a culture of loyalty and development.
This Finance Director opportunity is available to individuals with a formal accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) and a strong track record of commercial focus and change management within multiple SME organisations. It is a given that you will of course have overseen the day to day aspects of finance so be familiar with the statutory requirements, running and team to deliver a month end process , tax, systems improvements etc.
