We are urgently seeking an experienced and skilled BI Analyst - Childrens Social Care to provide data analysis and data manipulation across Children's Social Care reporting for our local government client based in Manchester M32.

The BI Analyst - Childrens Social Care will be responsible for providing data, analysis and reports using Childrens Social Care data. They will support the delivery of a high quality data, intelligence and analytical offerings to enable evidence and insight-led decision making.

They will support statutory reporting across Childrens Services (and assisting with Adults Services also) whilst developing internal business intelligence reports and dashboards - including interactive business intelligence reports and strategic management reports

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:
  • Experience providing data, analysis and reports using Childrens Social Care data
  • Experience using SAP Business Objects or similar databases, constructing and manipulating source data for the purpose of running reports, creating queries to retrieve management information and handling large quantities of complex data
  • Experience of data manipulation using a variety of software tools , including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Understanding of or experience in building portals and/or dashboard development
  • Experience of analysing and interpreting large, complex data sets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present analysis clearly, through visualisations, written reports, or oral presentations
  • A passion for data and aptitude in supporting processes to improve data quality
