greenwellgleeson are exclusively recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager to join a growing PE Backed SME business in South Birmingham. The Commercial Finance Manager will report directly to the FD with a unique hybrid responsibility split between day to day finance and commercial analysis.

The main purpose of the role is to manage the day to day accounting functions, including budgeting and forecasting, preparing financial reports and managing cashflows as well as providing key business information insights to enable strategic and operational decisions to be made.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing monthly management accounts using Xero
  • Reconciliation and management of balance sheet accounts
  • Coordinating and preparing the company's annual budget
  • periodically preparing reforecasts
  • Working with other departments to create and maintain critical business information for the SLT across all areas of the business
  • Maintain and develop price books and other commercial information
  • Involvement in commercial negotiations and contract management

The Person:
  • Fully Qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an SMR environment
  • Good commercial exposure/analytical skills
  • Experience of Xero and/or Salesforce would be a distinct advantage
