Your new role
This unique position within the groups growing financial crime space is responsible for providing leadership, subject matter expertise, support and guidance for the continued implementation and strengthening of a robust framework to manage risks related to financial crime. In particular, this will involve support for MUs and Group functions in building, maintaining, and updating relevant controls as well as playing an active role in increasing financial crime awareness across the group. In addition to this, you'll need to provide strategic advice and support of financial crime related matters, aiding MUs on resolving financial crime related concerns as well as develop and recommend changes to standard financial crime related guidance. You will also need to collaborate with wider sectors in the group like the operational and commercial teams to deliver effective support and advice as a key team member in projects to further the strategic goals of the company.

What you'll need to succeed
Within this exciting, senior position, you will be required to have 2-5 years' extensive financial crime related legal and/or regulatory knowledge and broad experience in advising on highly sensitive issues, including the negotiation and drafting of a wide range of documentation. In addition to this, you will need in depth knowledge of financial crime risk management strategies including fraud, bribery and corruption, sanctions, money laundering and the facilitation of tax evasion. A proven track record of regulatory advisory with a range of influence and capabilities across teams, clients and/or stakeholders will be essential in this position.
