Digital Product Data Manager

Digital Product Data Manager/ PIM Manager/ Production and Test Product Information Management/ PIM System/ PIM Development/ InRiver PIM/ Data Management/ Data Management Strategy/ Data Models/ QL/ Alteryx

A Digital Product Data Manager is required by our IT MSP client to set the strategy to improve product management systems, introduce new processes where relevant and train data users on best practices. By creating and implementing a best-in-class data strategy, with your team, you will deliver accurate data and smart right first time processes to reduce the cost and resource of managing product data.

£450-550 Per Day

Key Responsibilities:
* Administrate both the Production and Test Product Information Management (PIM) systems and data models ensure maximum uptime
* Work closely with the Head of Digital and other business stakeholders to create and deliver the product data management strategy in line with overall digital strategy and wider business aspirations
* Work closely with the merchandiser and external agency to ensure that SEO requirements are met to increase our visibility within the major search engines by matching our data to demand
* Manage integrations to all digital channels
* Identify opportunities and drive forward the roadmap for the PIM system and associated data model improvements through automation and smart processes
* Write user stories and test scripts and work with both System Integrators and Developers on improving data management processes via automation where strong ROIs exist
* Project manage PIM system improvements
* Manage annual PIM development and support budget
* Manage the relationship with PIM system provider to ensure change is delivered and SLAs are achieved
* Day to day management of image and document digital assets
* Manage BAU data management and all bulk imports, exports or updates to product data
* Measure, analyse and report on the accuracy of product data highlighting areas for continued improvement
* Create and distribute reports with insight to monitor and highlight issues suitable for the receiving audience

Key Experience:
* At least 5 years' experience of working a data management role using PIM systems (ideally inRiver PIM)
* At least 2 years previous team management experience in a similar role
* Self-motivated, ability to use initiative and manage/ prioritise their own and team's workload efficiently with a can-do attitude
* Proven experience delivering projects on time, at the right quality and on budget
* Proven background working in a complex analytical product-based role
* Experience of working with large ERP databases or managing large data sets
* Knowledge of Catalogue Production processes
* Enjoy and comfortable working with large data sets
* Manipulation of data using tools such as Excel, Alteryx, or SQL
