Senior Binding Authority Technician, City, up to c£48,000 working for a growing Lloyd's Broker

Senior Operation Technician,

Your new company
Your new job working as a Senior Binding Authority Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. Your new Brokers pride themselves on having an understanding of the importance of being client-focused, are growing in all areas and have recently been named an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their Operations Division a permanent position for Senior Binding Authority Technician dealing with delegated authority risks has arisen.

Your new role
Your new job working as a Binding Authority Technician means you will provide a first-class service to cover holders covering all aspects of their insurance arrangements. Provideing support to management as well as training to team members where required. You will be responsible for the production and renewal of Binding Authorities / Slips, ensuring all are in acceptable order in line with both Lloyd's and company procedures/guidelines. Other duties will include submitting documents to the Bureaux/XIS and ensuring all bordereaux are chased up, received, processed and paid to relevant bureaux within settlement due dates as well as, producing debit/credit notes, processing premiums onto internal systems and producing endorsements.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician handling Binding Authorities in a similar role will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be confident in the understanding of London Market procedures, and have good knowledge of Lloyds Delegated Authority systems (DCOM, Atlas, DDM), of general insurance policies and underlying legal procedures as well as good knowledge of the regulatory requirements of general insurance in operation at any time. You will show willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internally and externally to the firm
