If you work in Healthcare Communications we have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Account Manager / SAM to join one of the biggest, global communications groups whilst, at the same time, working for a growing and exciting boutique healthcare agency. Key duties for this Senior Account Manager / SAM Healthcare Communications role include:
  • Delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget whilst ensuring quality control and compliant communications.
  • Organising and attending weekly account team and relevant client meetings.
  • Inputting strategically by participating in and contributing to business planning sessions.
  • Partnering with clients and helping to nurture long-term mutually beneficial relationships as well as working in close collaboration with AD, SD, and other internal departments as appropriate.
  • Working closely with your team to develop client budgets, scope of work and estimates as well as supporting the profitable management of the business

Required Skills:

The successful Senior Account Manager / SAM candidate will have:
  • BA preferably in business, marketing, communication or life sciences.
  • Relevant account management experience in a medical communications agency or similar account management role.
  • Up to date knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, markets, regulations and trends.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide innovation solutions.
  • Confidence and be comfortable interacting with clients and medical experts as well as having clear communications, organisational and negotiating skills.
  • It goes without saying you will be a team player and calm under pressure.
