Boston Hale is currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join an established non-profit organisation.

The role holder will be responsible for supporting the Finance leadership team and budget holders.

Key responsibilities:
  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Reconciling accruals, prepayments and control accounts
  • Maintaining the general ledger
  • Resolving queries from budget holders regarding financial transactions
  • Reviewing accuracy and completeness of payroll data postings
  • Reviewing the balance sheet
  • Undertaking additional duties, supporting other senior Finance staff as and when required

Essential Criteria:
  • 1 to 2 years' relevant finance work experience
  • A good understanding of financial systems and procedures including debit and credits
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Highly numerate and analytical
  • Good IT literacy including Excel
