Our client are a fast growing ecommerce business.
Due to continued growth they are now looking for an experienced SEO manager to optimise natural search performance for all of their domains.
Reporting to the Head of Planning & Strategy this role offers great potential for growth for you within the business.
You'll be responsible for planning, developing and delivering the SEO strategy of all of the company's pure play digital brands.
You'll champion everything SEO and be the teams expert in best practices.
This role is a key role in the business and you will support the aggressive growth with these established brands. You'll have input into the channel P&L and own aspects of the ROI through the growth of organic visibility and revenue.
Taking ownership of the SEO plans, you'll work closely with the ecommerce trading teams and work in conjunction with the Head of Brand & CRM, and Digital Community Manager to support what brands stand for, their proposition/positioning in the market.
About the role:
o Full ownership of the SEO channel including strategy development and budget ownership for all domains - UK/EU incl B2B opportunities
o Management of all aspects of SEO, leading relevant areas of the business on KW research, link building, analysis and website auditing
o Commercial focus, ensuring that all product areas are optimised for ROI and profitability
o Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on activities and results against core KPI's along with recommendations on future strategy
o Working with internal stakeholders to ensure SEO campaigns are reported on effectively and results are communicated to relevant stakeholders within eCommerce and marketing departments
o Developing close relationships with eCommerce, Social, IT and marketing stakeholders
o Developing and managing external agencies and consultant relationships as required
o Working closely with the eCommerce development team to advise on MVT testing to improve conversion rate from SEO traffic
o Co-own site performance metrics with IT; driving continuance improvements
o Working closely with the social and content teams to ensure SEO considerations are being taken into account and maximised
o Working closely with the PPC manager to understand the relationship between SEO and PPC and advise on the best strategy for driving incremental search traffic and revenue
o Working closely with the product teams to ensure that the onsite and offsite strategy is aligned to core product pushes
o Key involvement in internal projects to update the search and merchandising platform providing recommendations to optimise natural search performance
o Ensuring up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, innovations and opportunities within the SEO space
o Ensuring up to date and establishing a full understanding of SERP changes, developing strategies to gain the most from SERP changes
o Be an SEO evangelist, passionately presenting to internal stakeholders on all areas of SEO to educate the business and improve SEO performance

A solid understanding of SEO
Knowledge in HTML and in-depth understanding of Canonical URLs & Canonical Tags
Clear understanding of Digital Marketing & Ecommerce
Comfortable with data and analytics
Deep understanding of Google Core Web Vitals, UX and the role SEO plays
Experienced user of SEO Tools - Google Search Console/Webmaster, Hitwise, AHrefs, SEM Rush, Link Building (e.g. Majestic SEO/Open Explorer) Crawler Software (e.g. Screaming Frog/Deepcrawl)
Foreign language skills desirable but not essential
Experience in copywriting
