Your new role
As the Procurement Category Manager you will be supporting the UK Procurement goals and strategies by delivering brilliant cost savings and value to the medical and pharmaceutical categories. You will be devising category strategies and ensuring these are executed effectively through analysis, sourcing, negotiations, and contract management. Not only will cost reduction be a focus for your role, supplier and product risk will clearly be of huge importance in this role, and sector.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have pro experience managing and executing category plans across a medical category expertise. You will be an independent and influential member of staff in order to manage both internal stakeholders and suppliers accordingly. You will be commercially astute in order to mitigate risk to the business and of course clients.
