Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Qualified Finance Business Partner to work on a temporary basis for a leading Financial Services organisation based in the Crawley, West Sussex area.

The main purpose of the Finance Business Partner role is to focus primarily on Business Partnering with all divisions inside the organisation, working with the business to ensure cost control and value for money as well as being responsible for organising all monthly reporting and meeting with senior managers across the business to present accounts and understand the financial impact of activities being undertaken and to challenge and support the business.

Duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Creating and presentation of senior management reports
  • Monthly meetings with the business to review accounts and challenge and understand their cost base and gain insight for BAU and projects
  • Ownership and creation of rolling 12-month forecast
  • Actively seek out new ways to improve the way we support the business, from month end process through to reporting
  • Challenge the business to think in new ways and actively seek out value for money and cost control
  • Recommend changes or improvements to cost reporting to provide insight and analysis that will drive better decision-making across the business
  • Cost Management
  • To appraise business cases for projects and provide analysis / recommendations to the Head of FP&A
  • Support the Supplier management Office with financial review of contract renewals as required
  • Assist with the planning to support the planning / budgeting process for BAU and project costs

Skills and experience required:
  • Part Qualified or recently qualified accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in financial services industry preferable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience of challenging and changing the business
  • Organised and able to lead a team and organise the teams' workload
  • Proactive and positive change agent
  • Strong modelling and analytic skills
