The key responsibilities of the Payroll Team Manager position will include;
  • Leadership of a small team
  • Ensuring that Payroll is processed on a weekly and monthly basis according to deadlines
  • To analyse and investigate complex queries and discrepancies
  • To liaise with both staff and managers regarding discrepancies
  • Responsibility for the day to day management of the team
  • Checking reports and analysis
  • Monitoring KPIs
  • Maintaining and ensuring all operating procedures to a high standard


The ideal applicant will ideally possess the following qualities and skills:
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent relevant financial experience
  • In depth experience with Payroll
  • ECDL knowledge
  • Competent leading and supporting staff
  • Strong IT skills
