Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Aylesbury

An opportunity has arisen to join an organisation that has big plans for growth. The FC position is a new position but you will be part of the existing senior finance team and the role will be responsible for:

Ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately, filed and reported;

Creation, preparation and review of all management accounting information;

Developing all financial plans for the group led by group business strategy, research and data;

Management and reporting of group cash flow;

Maintaining statutory records for the business;

Preparation of all consolidated statutory accounts for the group;

Reporting to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information;

Expertise - knowledge of umbrella employment and accountancy business models in order to ensure accounting entries accurately reflect business transactions;

Project management of process changes and implementations;

Assisting CFO in presenting reports to senior management, staff and stakeholders.

Key Performance Indicators

Management Accounts are prepared, reviewed and presented to the CFO monthly;

Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled monthly;

Financial forecasts are prepared, reviewed and presented monthly;

Consolidated statutory financial statement are prepared in accordance with accounting principles

Candidate Experience:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent

Good understanding of employment taxes and VAT

Excellent Communicator and focus on quality
