The Derivatives Analyst will hold day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of Derivative processing within the company.

Client Details

The client has over £20 billion under management and just over 300 members of staff. It manages investments on a discretionary basis for individuals, trusts, charities, companies and pensions as well as collective investment schemes


Subject matter expert in all aspects of Derivatives market practice, regulatory developments, and all business process interaction within the Derivatives function. Identifying current and future areas for development or change and leading in the delivery of them for all BAU functions.
Supporting the full operational tradelifecycle for all derivative products including affirmation, confirmation, settlement,margining,lifecycle events, andexpiries. Actively assisting in the completion and delivery of them:
OTC Cleared - Interest Rate Swaps / Credit Default Swaps.
OTC Un-cleared.
Lifecycle events - Re-sets, Corporate actions, Dividends etc.
Collateral Management.
Reconciliation management.

Assistance in process enhancement, redesign, development and testing to accommodate business and market changes.
Assist with the implementation of Derivative developments/requirements/openings for execution in new markets, products and any other requirements related to specific investment vehicles. Ensuring own continual professional development applicable to all functions.
Assistance with any related up/downstream activities and processes related to Derivative processing.Profile

The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise between them.
Have good oral, written communication and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Effective problem solver and holistic thinker, who can find practical solutions to often complex issues.
Absolute focus on the client and speed of service.
High standard of IT literacy (MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Knowledge and understanding of:Aladdin, MarkitWire, Traiana, TriSesolve Cloud Margin, IRESS - Pulse/Symphony, Interactive Data, Refinitiv, Bloomberg.
