Purchase Ledger Clerk/Finance Assistant - Leicester*** Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger clerk/Finance Assistant looking to join a small close-knit team and grow? We are looking for a team player with an approachable personality and friendly nature to join the business. If this sounds like you, then RECfinancial would like to hear from you!
To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

Current or recent experience of working within a Purchase Ledger role
Sound knowledge of Excel including basic formulas & Sage 50 Accounting
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent organisational skills
A high level of accuracy
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar role. You will be a friendly and approachable individual with excellent communication skills.
Within this position, you'll also be and have:

Processing invoices & payments accurately
Resolving queries from inception to completion
Setting up & maintaining accurate records of new suppliers
Preparing weekly & monthly BACS Payment runs
Reconciling supplier statements
Maintaining key supplier relationships
Carrying out general administrative tasks
Maintaining weekly reports
Dealing with supplier/accounts queries
Coverage in all areas of finance in the event of holidays and sickness
Work on various reconciliations
Well organised and productive
Can do attitude
Ad Hoc support of other areas of the business
