We are currently recruiting for a Warranty Sales Business Development Manager in the Southampton/Portsmouth/Winchester area (general mid-south coast area). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing their own territory with the support of our bespoke website portal and office staff.
This position is currently being offered with an existing book of business in place (whereby commissions will already be available) meaning you can earn commission from Day 1!
Field Business Development Manager – Market-Leading Used Car Warranty
£26,400 Basic (Including Car Allowance) + Ongoing Commissions for all new business £40,000 OTE+
Plus Pension, Business Mileage (reimbursed @ 20p/per business mile)
Full Training will be given to enable the successful candidate to understand the company’s products, website portal and future directional plans.
Who we are:
We have been supplying market-leading used car warranty covers to the motor industry for over 40 years and currently provide products throughout the UK. The company currently operates supplying warranty products to a variety of customers and is now looking to increase its portfolio in new territories.
We currently offer a non-insured discretionary warranty enabling us to ‘move’ quickly on new deals and we have the final decision on matters without the need to gain higher underwriting approval for product release and sign-off. We predominantly deal with very reputable used car motor dealers selling everyday family vehicles to high-end prestige vehicles. We also have a retention book of business for private direct custom upon renewal.
+ Confident, presentable, approachable, polite and have a background in sales (preferable field/face to face sales) Alternatively, a proven track history of another sales role will need to be demonstrated.
+ Have excellent communication skills, an ability to establish long-lasting business relationships whilst understanding and meeting the client’s needs through a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s product portfolio.
+ Be self-motivated and happy to travel on a regular basis within their territory to explore and finalise new sales (both self-generated and office-based)
+ Be able to understand and become proactively involved in future product releases as well as exploring a positive interest in the company’s plans.
+ Have use of your own vehicle.
+ Be able to work under pressure and meet quarterly sales targets.
+ A previous knowledge within the motor sector is preferable but not essential.
