Role: Graduate/Junior IT Infrastructure Support Analyst

Reports to: IT Manager

Our client are a leading Consultancy with offices in Europe.They currently have a great opportunity for a Graduate/Junior IT Infrastructure Support Analyst who is driven to learn and progress with Information Technology Infrastructure Support.The successful individual will be offered training and support in order to progress their career.

As a Graduate / Junior IT Infrastructure Support Analyst you'll have support to learn from day one. You will work as a part of a team, alongside skilled and experienced individuals who will mentor you on the day-to-day skills required to work closely with our customers, both internal and external. You will learn the tools, techniques and approaches used in IT infrastructure Support and apply them in the workplace, learning how to deliver on time, to quality and to budget. We will support you with a Career Manager who will guide you through your career as it develops.

Key Requirements for Graduate / Junior IT Infrastructure Support Analyst:

·Excellent proficiency in English with a wide vocabulary and strong grammar

·Ideally relevant Computing degree (but other graduates may be considered)

·Desire and aptitude to learn the following:

-Windows environments (including Windows 10, Windows Server, Active Directory), Virtualisation, Cloud solutions (including MS365), Sharepoint

-Networking, including; Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Web Filtering solutions, Anti-Virus solutions, Comms, thin client systems, storage devices, security, protocols and DR & BC solutions

·Competence in Microsoft Office packages/ IT literate

·Full, clean driving license

·Passion for IT / ability to demonstrate a strong interest in IT (through studies, external projects/ interests, work experience)

·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

·Ability to work on their own as well as a part of a team

·Exceptional attention to detail

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·Flexible, can-do attitude, capable of multitasking and resilient under pressure

·Ability to form good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

·Motivation to develop and become an important member of the team

Key responsibilities of the Graduate / Junior IT Infrastructure Support Analyst:

·Update and produce documentation as required (i.e., instructions to configure and deploy devices, processes, knowledge base and Hardware and Software Inventories)

·Build good relationships with key stakeholders

·Deliver first class support to business and IT users of the systems

·Build a working knowledge of the systems and business area in order to provide a high level of support

·Act as the first point of contact for clients (internal)

·Manage client support by logging, diagnosing and resolving their problems via email, phone and helpdesk portal

·Use the helpdesk system to document problem descriptions and resolutions

·Collaborate with colleagues, vendors and other stakeholders to investigate, test and resolve issues for internal users and clients

·Use your communication skills to explain the status of issues to clients and escalating any high priority customer issues to management.
