Robertson Bell are pleased to be working exclusively with a Government organisation, to recruit an Interim Project Manager until the end of March 2022 initially with a chance of extension beyond this point. This role will be working remotely throughout the duration of the contract.

As the Interim Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a detailed project plan, ensuring resource availability and allocation, working within the project team to deliver the project on time within budget and scope.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Co-ordination of internal recourses and external partners for the delivery of the project.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Use the detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Continuously communicate the anticipated delivery schedule and anticipated project cost forecast.
  • Measure project performance using the appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Perform risk management assessments.
  • Create, develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

The successful candidate will:
  • Have extensive project management experience across the Government sector.
  • Hold a PMP or Prince2 certification.
  • Be experienced in project managing the deliver of systems and change programmes.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, and be able to build strong working relationships to engage and influence effectively across all level.

Please note this role has been deemed to fall inside IR35 and will be paid through an umbrella company.
