Strategic Programmes Manager Capital Projects

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a large NHS Trust in South Yorkshire, to identify a Strategic Programmes Manager (Capital Projects) to work within their Strategy Department on an interim basis until March 2022.

Role:

The Strategic Programmes Manager (Capital Projects) assignment will be focussed on supporting the high profile development of new £15-20m NHS emergency care facilities - which is going through Business Case drafting at present.

The role will be responsible for;

• Working with clinical management, estates colleagues and external partners such as business case writers, architects to bring together the development of the clinical pathways and the related footprint of the capital project
• The build itself will consist of part new and part refurbishment of existing estate so that the Emergency Care services can be co-located
• Ensure robust programme planning and governance
• Provide programme management expertise to support project delivery and promote engagement with all relevant parties

Person

The successful candidate will ideally have;

• Understanding of capital and business case development process
• Operational understanding of emergency clinical pathways
• Previous experience of working within NHS/private healthcare
• Strong project/programme management skills
